Master’s Program Update – One month in!

Master’s Program Update

Master's Program Update

One month into the master’s program and i have to admit that it’s harder than what i thought it would be. Granted it is graduate studies, but what i a really struggling with is to have time to go over everything, and UNDERSTAND everything. There are assignments due every week, they’re hard! So far i’ve been able to hand in everything on time and i’ve passed all as well (you only get a pass/fail grade).

The fall semester is divided into two segments

The first segment of the fall semester lasts tow months; September through October. During this time i will take two courses: 1) Decision Support Methods (BSM) and 2) Risk Management (RIMA).Never in a million years did i think that BSM would mean LOTS and LOTS of math! WTH?!??! Anyway, both classes requires me to spend a lot of time studying. Since i am studying 100% while also working full time,  it requires a lot of time management on my part. My September was planned to a T and my October is as well!

The second segment will cover the following subjects: 1) Decision Theory, and 2) Scientific Communication and Research Methodology. From what i gathered, one of these classes will be loaded with assignments =(. These classes start in the beginning of November (11/5 to be exact), and will run through 1/19/19. Want to learn more about what these classes will cover, check out my very first blog post i made when i found out i had been accepted to graduate school, or if you want to check out the school website you can do that as well =)

My eyes are on the goal

Master's Program Update

I will do everything i can to make sure i am on target to graduate in June. I have some travel coming up in November and December so it’ll be key for me to continue planning my life. LOL should i be fortunate to be approved for graduation in June, i’ve decided to give me a great travel gift: road-tripping through Europe!

The route in the image would be cool but would probably take 754670 months to complete LOL So i’m thinking driving from Sweden, through Denmark, Germany, Amsterdam, France and all the way down to Spain…Then go back up north via Milan (Italy), Switzerland, Czech Republic, Poland…And who knows, maybe grab the boat from Gdansk (Poland) back up to Nynashamn (Sweden). We will see… First thing first though… MAKE SURE I GRADUATE! lol
